After I got home from Michel's funeral, I made this shrine as a way to cope with the loss. I chose pictures and tokens that truly represented him. On the yellow sticky notes, I wrote the things I always wanted to tell him, but never made the time. I devoted the right and left-hand sides of the tabletop to my uncle Robert (M'Nonc Bob) and my grandpa Emile (Pepere) who passed away in 2008 and 1988 respectively. This shrine helped me deal with death.

That's Mitch on the left fishing with his buddy Roland "Tiny Bubbles" Lariviere at Thompson Lake south of Gravelbourg, Sask.

A great picture of M'Nonc and his niece Danielle. They worked together at my Uncle Bob's garage. Bob was Danielle's dad and Mitch's older brother. He passed away from diabetes in 2008.
