You have dreams. You have goals. You want to pursue them.

Dreams keep you going, they give you something to live for, something to hold in your soul when you need it. You will leave my presentation with the knowledge to make your dreams a reality despite the challenges.

During my speaking engagements, I combine humour and life experience to explain how I overcame the obstacles I faced during 8 months of wilderness canoeing. I describe techniques and strategies you can use to overcome tornadoes, long portages, fatigue and loneliness, storms, death, hostile people, fear, dangerously high waves, gigantic lakes or any other of life's challenges.

Planning this 3270-mile river journey required setting clear goals and an ability to turn logistical problems into new opportunities. I would like to share with you how you can do the same.

The lessons in my presentation apply to everyone regardless of their age, gender, cultural background or their place in the world. We all have goals and dreams. And we all have challenges to overcome.

The presentation will make you a witness to all of the journey's adventures. You'll enjoy hearing about the interesting people who made the journey possible. You'll be inspired by stories and pictures that aren't on the website.

You have dreams. You have goals. You can turn them into reality.
